Welcome!
May 8, 2009: Due
to overwhelming demand, registration for this year’s 26
Random Walk trips is officially closed.
Don't despair, though. You still have an excellent chance to join more than 300 of your soon-to-be classmates on a Random Walk this year. See the Register page for more information on how you can participate. |
Congratulations and welcome to Chicago Booth! One of the most fun ways to get to know your incoming classmates and current students is to go on one of the many Random Walk trips hosted by the school!
The trips for the Class of 2011 are bigger and better than ever, as
we're happy to offer 26
fantastic options! As you consider which trip is best suited
for you, please take a look at the 'spider graph' on each trips'
information page (accessed below). Note that the trips are measured
by culture, nightlife, nature, physical
activities, and relaxation.
Process:
Evaluate your options carefully, but please be aware of the key dates associated with signing up. Because of limited availability the trips will only be open from Admit Weekend I until March 20, whereupon registration will be suspended until April 24 (Admit Weekend II). Additionally, for March 6 – March 20 signups, each trip will be limited to 50% filled or 3 couples (for Belize & Costa Rica couples trips) -- so some trips may show as suspended prior to March 20. [One caveat is the Peru trip, which will stay open until it is full due to an Inca Trail permit that is time sensitive]
Sign up early and get ready for an amazing start to an incredible MBA experience!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact
us or submit
a post on the Admitted
Students Portal. We also encourage you to familiarize yourself with the information on the FAQ page and on the Terms & Conditions page before you register.
