The Private Equity Group and the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Chicago Booth were delighted to host the 15th Annual Private Equity Conference.
The Private Equity Conference (PEC) brings together financiers, students, and entrepreneurs to network and share insights into the dynamics of investing in a constantly changing economy. The PEC aims to provide high value to private equity practitioners by combining knowledge from both the industry and academia that would be hard to find in any other setting. Through a series of engaging keynote addresses and panel sessions, leading industry individuals offer expertise and thought leadership on issues important to both the financier and entrepreneur.
This year's conference was themed "Navigating Industry Cycles: Investing in an Evolving Market" and featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including: Evan Bayh,
Senior Advisor of
Apollo Global Management; James P. Hickey, MBA '82, Principal at
Vista Equity Partners; and Byron Trott, AB '81, MBA '82,
Founder, Chairman, and CEO of
BDT & Company. Opening remarks were given by Greg Moerschel, Managing Director of Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company. There was also be an exciting lineup of panel discussions and networking opportunities.
