2014-2015 Co-Chairs

David is a PEG Co-Chair with primary responsibility for the New York Private Equity Trek. Prior to business school, he worked as an associate at Trinity Hunt Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, in Dallas, TX. Before that, he was an investment banking analyst with the energy team at Raymond James in Houston, TX. He completed his undergraduate degrees at The University of Texas at Austin. Over the summer, David interned with WL Ross & Co., a distressed and value-oriented private equity firm in New York City. He also interned with Sterling Partners in Chicago as part of the Booth Private Equity Lab.

Jared is a PEG Co-Chair with primary responsibility for the Bay Area Private Equity Trek. Prior to Booth, Jared worked for McKinsey & Company in Dallas, TX and South Africa as well as a hybrid investment bank/principal investments firm in Ghana named Serengeti Capital Partners. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. Over the summer Jared interned in Kenya with Emerging Capital Partners, one of the major pan-African private equity firms. Jared is also a Co-Chair of the Leadership in Action Group.

Justin is a PEG Co-Chair with primary responsibility for Communications. Prior to business school, he worked as a private equity associate at The Compass Group in Orange County, CA, where he focused on transactions in consumer products and niche industrials. Prior to Compass, Justin worked as an investment banking analyst in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group at UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles and New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. Justin is also a Co-Chair of the Chicago Booth Ski & Snowboard Club and a Captain of the University of Chicago Men's Ice Hockey Club. Justin spent this past summer working at McNally Capital, a Chicago-based private equity firm.

Adam is one of two PEG Co-Chairs with primary responsibilities for Programming and Career Services.  Prior to business school, Adam was an associate at KRG Capital Partners in Denver, where he focused on transactions in oilfield services, transportation and healthcare.  Before KRG, Adam worked as an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.  Adam is originally from Minnesota, graduated from Yale University, and spent this past summer working for Koch Industries in a commercial development role.

Chris is one of two PEG Co-Chairs responsible for planning the annual Private Equity Conference.  Prior to attending Booth, Chris was an Associate at Endeavour Capital in Los Angeles, where he focused on transactions in transportation and logistics, healthcare, and consumer products.  Before Endeavour, Chris worked as an investment banking analyst at BMO Capital Markets in Chicago.  Chris graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is also a Captain of the University of Chicago Men's Ice Hockey Club.  Chris spent the past summer working for Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.

Doug is one of two PEG Co-Chairs with primary responsibilities for Programming and Career Services.  Prior to attending business school, he worked as an associate at Sterling Partners and as an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Chicago.    He is originally from Dallas, TX, graduated from Indiana University, and spent this past summer working for Pritzker Group Private Capital.

Sean is one of two PEG Co-Chairs responsible for planning the annual Private Equity Conference, which will be held in February 2015.  Prior to attending Booth, Sean was an Associate at Baird Capital in Chicago, where he focused on transactions in the business and healthcare services sectors.  Before Baird Capital, Sean worked as an investment banking analyst at Robert W. Baird & Co. in Chicago.  Sean graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Finance, and is also a co-chair of the Chicago Booth Rugby Football Club.  Over the summer, Sean did an internship with Pfingsten Partners, a middle-market buyout fund in Chicago.
