William Pauly, wpauly@chicagobooth.edu
William is one of two PEG Co-Chair with primary responsibilities for Programming and Career Services. Prior to business school, he worked in private equity at Brockway Moran & Partners, in Boca Raton, FL, and in investment banking at Robert W. Baird & Co. in Milwaukee, WI. He is originally from Florida, graduated from Cornell University, and is working for Edgewater Funds, a middle-market private equity firm, this summer.

Katie is a PEG Co-Chair with primary responsibility for the New York Private Equity Trek. Prior to business school, she worked as a private equity associate at Avista Capital Partners in New York, NY and as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan in Chicago, IL. She completed her undergraduate degree at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Over the summer, Katie did an internship at Groupon. Katie is also a Co-Chair of the Booth Ski and Snowboard Club, a Private Equity Career Advisor and a member of the Graduate Business Council.

BJ is one of two PEG Co-Chairs with responsibility for Programming, Career Services, and Alumni Relations. Prior to business school, he worked in private equity at McCarthy Capital in Omaha, NE and in investment banking at George K. Baum Advisors in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, interned at a healthcare technology start-up, and is also a Co-Chair of Booth’s Leadership and Influence Group.

Griffin is one of two PEG co-chairs responsible for planning the annual Private Equity Conference, which will be held in February 2013. Prior to attending Booth, Griffin was a Senior Associate at Parthenon Capital Partners in Boston, where he specialized in industries like financial services, education, and healthcare technology. Before Parthenon, Griffin worked as an investment banking analyst at William Blair in Chicago. Griffin graduated from Dartmouth College, and is also a co-chair of Booth's Giving Something Back group.

Paul is one of two PEG co-chairs responsible for planning the annual Private Equity Conference. Prior to attending Booth, Paul was a Senior Analyst at a boutique consulting firm that worked closely with buy-side investors. Paul worked with long/short equity investors and private equity buyers across a range of industries, with a particular focus on the healthcare and technology sectors. Paul graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and is also a co-chair of Booth’s Net Impact Group.

Dwight is a PEG Co-Chair with primary responsibility for the San Francisco Private Equity Trek. Prior to business school, he worked as a corporate associate at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Los Angeles, California. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and obtained his J.D. from Harvard Law School. Dwight is also a co-chair of the Media, Entertainment & Sports Group and is working at Blackstone over the summer.
