The UChicago Web Development Union (UCWDU), the organization that operates the website of your beloved UChicago Maroons, finally reached a collective bargaining agreement with management today. Fans rejoiced over the return of the live-blog and look forward to extensive coverage of the upcoming Ivey tournament in Canada.

   
Streaking: Chicago 7, Sandbaggers 6 (11/7/2009)

Another sparse lineup of 9 skaters took care of business late Friday for the Maroons, in what turned out to be a very chippy game. It was Zlatkus' turn to treat the fans tonight, as he lit up the scoresheet with four hard-fought tallies. On a Roll: Chicago 7, Neanderthals 6 (10/21/2009)

A thin lineup of 8 skaters got it done for the Maroons on Tuesday night. Justin Pitrack had a MONSTER night, hitting the twine five times en route to a close victory over the aptly-named Neanderthals. Both Pitrack and Zlatkus overcame significant hookage to help Chicago get it done when it counted. Scoresheet.

Team Relocates Downtown For '09-10 (9/1/2009)

Maroons Fall 5-4 in Semis (4/29/2009)

Chicago Hockey closed out its 2008-2009 campaign with a narrow defeat at the hands of the 2nd-ranked Cougars. Goals by Gardner, Zlatkus, Wiseman and Morris weren't enough to overcome Red-Helmet Guy and the worst referee in history.

Chicago Hockey introduced its revamped website today, amid much fanfare and media hoopla. The site is a major upgrade from the previous site, which was a 90's throwback design by former Captain Martinelli.

Team leaders #1, #8 and of course #72 staffed the team booth at Booth's LPF for Admit Weekend II. Numerous potential recruits dropped by the booth to talk about Booth, the team, the hardware, and to sign their letters (of Booth intent) on the signup sheet.
 
Zlatkus Named Team MVP (4/24/2009)
Members of Chicago Hockey Nation overwhelmingly voted Josh Zlatkus as team MVP for a second-straight season. Asked to comment, Zlatkus said: "I'm going back to the Western Fair Entertainment Center!"
 
Playoff Semis: Tuesday VS. Cougars (4/24/2009)
Chicago looks to resurrect its Ivey tournament magic this week as the playoffs kick-off with a first-round matchup against the perennial powerhouse Cougars. The Maroons 'D' will look to contain "Red-Helmet Guy" while #72 looks to keep lighting the lamp for the good guys.
 
Maroons Fall Short At HBS (4/20/2009)
The annual MBA hockey tournament hosted by HBS in Boston, MA ended in disappointment for the Ivey Cup champs. Chicago was 1-2 in the tournament, securing its only win against Babson. Full Story
 
Maroons Dominate Season Series With Kellogg (4/17/2009)
Chicago Hockey moved to 3-1 on the season against arch-rival Kellogg with a 6-0 win last night. The win marked Chicago's third straight dominating victory against their purple-clad neighbors, outscoring them 21-5 in the process.
 
2009 Ivey Cup Champions! (3/2/2009)
The Maroons beat tournament host Ivey in front of a raucous home crowd in the championship game of the 2009 Ivey MBA hockey tournament in London, Ontario. Chicago went 3-1 in the tournament, beating three Canadian teams. Full Story
