Courtney Burrows

Courtney Burrows. -

Prior to Booth, Courtney got her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in Human Genetics. Her work focused on applications for stem cells in personalized cancer treatment. While getting her Ph.D. she helped launch a graduate student group for those interested in biotech and pharma. During her Ph.D. and while at Booth Courtney has been involved with multiple startup due diligence efforts through the Innovation Fund at the University of Chicago and a Houston-based VC firm, Mercury. Courtney earned her BS and BA in Biology and Anthropology from the University of Florida.

Camille Emma

Camille Emma -

Camille Emma is a student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to Booth, Camille worked in the Health Industries Advisory practice at PwC. Her work primarily focused on business and systems transformations for pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, and medical device companies. Camille has also worked at IMS Health in the Managed Markets Services group, where her work focused on government pricing and managed care contracting. Camille completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, where she received a BS in Nutritional Sciences and minor of study in Business.

Arshiya Fazal

Arshiya Fazal -

Prior to Booth, Arshiya worked as a project manager for Epic, a health information system. Arshiya has experience in health implementations, understanding technical and resource capabilities of large hospital systems and has worked with over 15 hospital systems across the country. While at Epic, she was fortunate enough to work in Sales and Product Development in the Cardiovascular space. Arshiya will be spending her summer at McKinsey where she hopes to gain a broader experience in healthcare. Arshiya earned her BA at University of Chicago where she studied Biology with a specialization in Endocrinology.

Jack Fitzgibbons

Jack Fitzgibbons -

Jack Fitzgibbons is a full-time student at Booth, and a part time Associate at Hyde Park Angels, the largest angel investor in the Midwest. At Hyde Park Angels, Jack supports the fund's healthcare sourcing activities. Prior to Booth, Jack worked for four years at Oliver Wyman, the international management consulting firm. At Oliver Wyman, Jack worked in the firm's healthcare practice, and led consulting engagements with payer, provider, and pharmaceutical clients. Jack also spent a pre-MBA internship at Sandbox Industries, where he conducted sourcing activities, due diligence, and financial analysis for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Venture Partners Fund. Jack graduated from Duke University, where he studied economics, biology, and chemistry.

Sue Kim

Sue Kim -

Prior to Booth, Sue worked for a boutique consultancy as a Human Capital and Sales Force Effectiveness Consultant assisting clients in the higher education, high-tech / software, and healthcare industry with people and sales effectiveness issues. Most recently, she worked at Health Care Services Corporation as a Strategy Analyst in the Individual Market where she helped implement the Affordable Care Act. Sue earned her BA in Psychology and Legal Studies from Northwestern University.

Donnacha O'Sullivan

Donnacha O'Sullivan -

Prior to Booth, Donnacha worked with the private equity team at Baird Capital, focused on healthcare investments. Donnacha spent most of his time investing in outsourced payor and provider tools and services. Before joining Baird Capital, Donnacha was an investment banking analyst at Piper Jaffray. Donnacha served Piper Jaffray’s medical device and pharmaceutical clients. During his time at Booth, Donnacha has interned with ExplORer Surgical (seed-stage workflow optimization offering for the operating room) and Tyree & D’Angelo Partners (healthcare investment firm focused on healthcare providers). Donnacha graduated with high honors in Finance from the University of Illinois.

Kyle Poe

Kyle Poe -

Prior to Booth, Kyle worked in the Los Angeles office of LEK Consulting where he focused primarily in the life sciences, healthcare, and private equity industries. He completed 25 engagements in his time at LEK, his favorite of which was designing a new patient support program strategy for the U.S., Mexico, Spain, and Germany affiliates of a major pharmaceutical company. Since moving to Chicago, Kyle has interned for Healthbox, a Chicago-based healthcare VC, and recently completed Chicago Booth's Management Lab in which he and a team of fellow students crafted a 3-5 year digital strategy for AbbVie in the EU5. Building off his experience in the Management Lab, Kyle will be spending this summer with AbbVie as a Commercial Leadership Program intern. Kyle earned a B.S. in accounting cum laude from Brigham Young University.
