GSB Annual Charity Auction
What: Help select charities, solicit donations and set up a gala evening for your fellow students. This year's event will take place on Thursday, April 15th, 2010.

Commitment: flexible (the bulk of the activity takes place in the spring quarter)

MBA Food Fight
What: National food drive competition run by the University Of Michigan School Of Business. This year's event will take place on Thursday, November 12th, 2009.
Commitment: flexible (the bulk of the activity takes place for one week in the autumn quarter)

Ronald McDonald House
What: Help plan and cook dinners for families whose children are critically ill. This year's event will take place on Wednesday, November 24th, 2009.
Commitment: flexible (approx. monthly)

Habitat for Humanity
What: Volunteer to assist in building affordable housing for low-income working families.
Commitment: one Saturday per quarter (you can sign up for one or all of the projects)

Toys Drive
What: Fundraising to purchase toys for the La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Hyde Park. This year's event will take place the week of November 16th, 2009.
Commitment: flexible (the bulk of the activity takes place late autumn quarter)

GSB Scholarship Program
What: Solicit/Review applications from local area high school students.

What: Clothing drive co-sponsored by the Career Office.

What: Assist Hyde Park families with their taxes
Commitment: Flexible but close to April 15th.

What: Business school competition at Duke University to raise funds for Special Olympics.
Commitment: One weekend in Spring quarter

Rock Band Tournament
What: School-wide fundraising event to assist Minds Matter of Chicago, a local academic assistance program for inner-city high school students.
Commitment: Flexible (a few hours helping organize/run the event in the winter quarter)

What: Weekly tutoring of students in grades 1 – 5 at a local school.
