The Credit Restructuring Distressed Investing and Turnaround Group at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business is a student-led career-focused group whose mission is to educate our members about opportunities in credit investing, restructuring, turnaround advisory and distressed investing.
Our members share an interest in a wide variety of current issues related to credit investing, restructuring, turnaround advisory and distressed investing – from working for a financial restructuring advisory firm to making principal investments in overleveraged or poorly performing companies. Group members recognize that all aspects of a successful turnaround are interrelated and are excited to learn about the impact and importance of each step of the process.
CREDIT organizes events throughout the school year to facilitate learning, networking, and recruiting in across all aspects of the credit industry, including financial restructuring advisory, turnaround consulting and distressed investing, amongst other areas. These events include our Annual Distressed Investing and Restructuring Conference, Lunch and Learns, and other panel and case study presentations featuring industry leaders.
To become a member please make a check out of the University of Chicago and deposit in the Credit Restructuring Distressed Investing and Turnaround Group folder in Harper Center (please indicate membership type in the memo line).
